From experience comes wisdom.
But it takes a man like
Seymour Sikov to merge experience
and wisdom into achievement.

As a founding and now senior partner of Sikov and Love, Seymour has fought for the rights of individuals for more than 45 years. His career history reads like an almanac of professional accomplishment.

After first serving as an infantry officer and later with the Judge Advocate General Branch of the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict, Seymour returned home to his native Pittsburgh to begin a distinguished career in private legal practice.

Nationally recognized as a premier trial lawyer, Seymour has held national offices in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and has lectured to lawyers throughout the country on his proven trial techniques. He is a Charter Member and past-president of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, a select group of the county's top trial lawyers. He has chaired numerous committees of the Allegheny County Bar Association, including the Medical/Legal Committee, the Judicial Retention Election Committee, and the Professional Ethics Committee. Seymour was also selected by the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County to supervise a unique program that assisted in the speedy and efficient handling of civil cases. The Special Master Program, which Seymour organized, became a model for similar programs across the state. During the ten (10) year period from 1989 to 1999 this program was in effect, it reduced the volume of cases in the civil division of the court so that the civil trial list is fairly current.
